Random uneventfulness

Today is another uneventful day at the office. I've been sitting here for a couple hours reading Harry Potter and facebooking. Thats about all I do with my Thursdays and Fridays. I thought that cell phone had come back to life. I turned it on today and everything was fine but the longer it was turned on and more I realized how wrong I was. Some of the buttons stopped working and some of them do different things than what they originally did. Like I hit the space bar and apparently that means shut off the phone now. But thankfully Kira is going to bring me her old phone so I'll just change over to that one til I have the money to buy a new one.

I don't know that I have any entertaining stories to tell today...nothing really good has happened to me in the past day or so that I can remember.

I watched Avatar for the first time yesterday...it is so good! i didn't think I would like it just cuz i've never really been into the Avatar kinda thing...it was surprisingly very good.

So I guess thats all I have to say today

RIP Cell Phone

Yesterday i had a fantastic time with some very awesome friends (AKA Jordan Spencer, Kira Chadwick, and their friend Case). so we went for a journey on the great Allegheny in canoes. it was so much fun! we stopped for lunch at Dairy D and then continued on our way. so we come to the might rapids and Jordan and I hit a giant rock in the middle of the rapids (i swear it was mt everest under water!). we both leaned to one side to keep the boat afloat but our attempt was thwarted and we were cast into the waters. i was drug along the water for a while...getting the crap kicked out of me by the rocks and then i found a rock and hugged it for a while...lol. it was like the titanic...only warmer. eventually i floated my way back to Jordan and the U.S.S. Capsize, but the damage was done. my phone and my whole bag was submerged in water. there are no vitals signs showing for the little trooper. I'm gonna leave him in rice for another day and hopefully some progress will be made. it's so weird, Case and I were having this conversation...people are so addicted to their cell phones and they get so anxious when they dont have them...IT'S A TRUE STORY!! i'm dyin here! haha. I also lost one flip flop to the raging rapids...so i walked around the rest of the day with one shoe on. haha.

but i wouldn't have changed the experience for the world. i would rather have not lost my phone or my shoes or soak everything in my bag...but it was still so much fun!

update: ipod is still not showing any signs of life...it's looking pretty bleak. thats 2 electronic devices in less than a week...oh the inhumanity!

monster trucks and fake eyelashes

so MONSTER JAM was a success. i got to spend time with my dad and he seemed really happy so it was fun. it was also a victory because i sat next to a group of highly intoxicated young fellows that were very loud and obnoxious and were sure to keep you on your toes. every time a bon jovi song came on over the loud speakers (the people in the sound booth really liked bon jovi cuz they played like 12 of their songs) the chaps would start yelling and expressing their undying love for the band. it was an experience. my sister and i also kept track of how many times we got kicked in the butt/back by 3 little kids who were sitting behind us. i won with 8 but she trailed closely with 7. the father of the children called them retard triplets and every time the guy who sells beer walked by the little kids would tell the guy that they should be allowed to have a beer cuz they always take secret sips of their dad's anyways...not so secret anymore eh? haha. so all in all MONSTER JAM was a good time with many memories!

another story for your reading enjoyment...i bought some fake eyelashes today so i could start practicing for the pageants. well...either i'm totally dense or it's way harder than it looks. i got the glue stuff on my finger and ended up poking myself in the eye accidentally and getting eyelash glue in my eye...don't try that at home kids! so after i doused my eye with water i tried again and got the glue on the eyelash but kinda missed my eye and got in stuck next to my eye. (i can't make this stuff up!) i'm gonna go for a third try once i finish writing this and we'll see how it goes! 3 times a charm right??

day of fun...or something like that

well waking up at 12:30 is always a plus but it really makes the day go by too fast.

so i'm going on an adventure with my dad and sister and brothers tonight. we're going to see "MONSTER JAM"! haha. i'm not really sure if i'm looking forward to seeing giant loud trucks jump over stuff. i will also be surrounded by loud and proud drunks. lol. last year we sat in front of a group of drunk people...that was quite the experience in itself...haha. so it'll be something else, but i am looking forward to spending time with my dad. it will probably be the last thing that i actually get to do with him before i go to college. :(

i miss my dad a lot. i remember the good old days when i would go on the road with him all the time and fall asleep on the dashboard. haha. he would always go out of his way to take me somewhere to have a nice meal when we were traveling, even though he doesn't eat nice meals when he's on the road by himself. we did everything together when i was little. i would "help" him do stuff outside, we would build stuff together, i remember when he taught me how to ride my bike. and now we never see each other...like really. i work all the time and so does he. he usually gets home from work in the afternoon sometime while i'm at work and then he gets something to eat and goes to bed. when i get home he's in bed. he wakes up around 10, 11, 12 and goes back to work. so i never really see him and it makes me sad. i miss my daddy.

i am having an anxiety attack...my itouch that i got for my birthday has had like a system crash and is in recovery mode and won't turn on...i feel like puking. i can't live without ipod! there will be a small memorial service if something bad happens and you are all invited. ha.

so i guess thats all i have to say for now. i will definitely have stories to tell about MONSTER JAM! haha

Well...I guess begin at the beginning

So i just realized that I thoroughly enjoy reading other people's blogs and I decided...hey why not start writing your own? I really like writing and i find it soothing sometimes...just to get stuff out. so anyways...haha.

so i just graduated from warren county christian school...it's a great feeling! i will never regret going to that school. i was homeschooled until 7th grade and then 8th grade i went to beatty middle school where i had a really hard time. i still have some really good friends now that i met there that i am very greatful for...so i can't say that the WHOLE experience was bad. but anywho...i went to WCCS is 9th grade. it was the best decision ever. i made the greatest friends there and we are so close...since there were only 6 of us in my graduating class...lol. they are the world too me, and it makes me sad that i don't get to see them all the time now. it's been almost 2 months since we graduated and we either see each other in the store or "accidentally" end up hanging out or send each other the occasional "i miss you" text. so it's really sad without them...but i am really excited to start this new chapter in my life!

i will be going to Edinboro University in the fall for Theater Arts and Creative Writing...although i am considering changing my minor to vocal performance. once i graduate i want to join a traveling theater troupe for a while if all works out. if i could do anything in the world it would be to perform on Broadway. that is my life's dream! i don't know how much of a reality it is for me...but that is my dream of all dreams. i love musical theater with a passion...i just wish i was given more chances to prove myself...

i am doing a couple pageants this summer which i am super excited about! i am doing one in Baltimore Aug 6-7 and i am competeing in the fair queen competition on Aug 9. they will be a lot of fun and I am expecially excited about the talent portion! i am dressing up like Tracy Turnblad from Hairspray and singing a few of the songs from the show. it will be a blast!

so i guess i don't really know what else to say for now...i know this entry might've been kinda boring since it's just me telling about my life, but it was get better! it will be pretty entertaining i hope!
